Brief Thoughts about Driving Cars and Auto Accidents is a post from: Atlanta wrongful death law firms motorcycle laws car accidents
With people having a difficult time finding work, many are starting to not pay their car insurance. This always happens in a recession. If you are hit by one of these uninsured drivers, you will not have an easy life. Since they don't have insurance, who is going to pay for your car damage? Who is going to pay for your medical bills?
This is why you should have uninsured motorist coverage in a bad economy. You can't stop driving and you can't stop others from being stupid. So, what do you do? You get insurance to cover for their lack of insurance.
We work on all types of personal injury cases. Just this week we started working on a rear end accident. Our client was turning into a parking lot. Another car came around the corner really fast. They saw my client's car and barely stopped and avoided hitting him. But then, another car came around the bend and hit the car behind our client's car. As a personal injury attorney in Atlanta, I worry about people's safety.
Our client was severely injured. He was rushed to the emergency room. He doesn't even remember anything about the moment. He was treating with doctors and orthopaedic doctors for months. The doctors are recommending surgery. Our client is unsure if he will get surgery or not. Many people do like surgery for necks and backs. You do hear a lot of horror stories, but you never know what you will do in that moment.
So, the take away here to buy UM insurance in a bad economy. Either way you will pay for it. One way keeps and puts money in your pocket. The other way causes you to lose money. It is an easy choice. Be smart.
